1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when creating an account, filing flight plans, or contacting support. This includes your name, email address, phone number, pilot certification details, and organizational affiliation.
We also collect operational data generated through platform use, including flight plan submissions, airspace authorization requests, GPS coordinates of planned flight areas, aircraft registration details, and usage analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve our drone operations services, including:
- Processing flight plan submissions and airspace authorizations
- Providing real-time airspace data and notifications
- Verifying pilot credentials and regulatory compliance
- Communicating service updates, safety alerts, and regulatory changes
- Analyzing usage patterns to improve platform reliability and features
- Fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations to aviation authorities
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share flight plan data with NAV CANADA and other applicable aviation authorities as required for airspace authorization. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with research partners to advance drone safety.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls to protect your data. Our infrastructure undergoes regular security audits and penetration testing. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable regulations.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription and for 90 days following account closure. Flight records are retained for a minimum of 3 years in compliance with Canadian aviation regulations. You may request data export or deletion by contacting our privacy team.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Canadian residents have additional rights under PIPEDA. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@rpaswilco.com.
Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the RPAS WILCO platform and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age and hold valid pilot credentials as required by Transport Canada or your local aviation authority. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform only for lawful drone operations in compliance with all applicable aviation regulations. You must not:
- Submit false or misleading flight plan information
- Attempt to circumvent airspace restrictions or safety protocols
- Use the platform to facilitate unauthorized or illegal drone operations
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Share account access or credentials with unauthorized individuals
4. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% platform uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Airspace data is provided in real-time from official sources, but you remain solely responsible for verifying conditions and ensuring regulatory compliance before and during flight operations. RPAS WILCO is a planning and coordination tool — it does not replace pilot judgement or regulatory requirements.
5. Intellectual Property
The RPAS WILCO platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you submit, but grant us a license to process it for service delivery. Airspace data provided through the platform is sourced from NAV CANADA and is subject to their data licensing terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RPAS WILCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence causing personal injury or death.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but we will retain flight records as required by applicable regulations.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
